Also known as NW-7, Monarch, or Code 2 of 7. A self-checking barcode that encodes digits plus six special characters. Widely used in libraries, blood banks, and FedEx airbills.
When to use
Libraries (book tracking), blood banks (specimen labelling), FedEx airbills, and photo finishing.
