Barcode creation capabilities
Create common 1D and 2D barcodes, inspect a live preview, and generate native commands for ZPL, SBPL, TSPL, or DPL thermal printers. Available families include Code 128, EAN/UPC, QR Code, Data Matrix, and other industrial and retail symbologies.
The generator is Beta software. It validates common inputs and produces printer code, but it does not certify GS1 data, guarantee scanner performance, or replace a physical print-quality test. Printer resolution, media, ribbon, size, and quiet zones all affect whether a symbol scans reliably.
How to generate printer-ready barcode code
- Choose a barcode symbology that matches the data and application.
- Enter the value and configure size, orientation, and human-readable text.
- Select the target printer language and inspect the rendered preview.
- Copy the generated code, print a sample, and verify it with the intended scanner.
Example: a retail EAN-13 symbol
Select EAN-13, enter the 12 data digits 400638133393, and let the symbology add or validate the final check digit. Set the target language to match the printer, then confirm bar height, readable text, and left and right quiet zones in the preview and printed sample.

Which barcode type should I choose?
Use the barcode symbology overview to compare families. Retail identifiers commonly use EAN-13 , logistics data often uses GS1-128 , and URLs or compact general data often use QR Code .
Why will the barcode not scan?
Check the encoded value, minimum module size, contrast, print speed, scanner support, and required quiet zones . Avoid resizing a rendered bitmap after generation.
Does the tool calculate check digits?
Supported numeric symbologies validate or calculate their standard check digit where appropriate. Confirm whether your input should include that digit before printing.
Where can I check the generated printer commands?
Compare the result with the ZPL , SBPL , TSPL , or DPL reference for the selected output language.
